The Impact: Teachers—who tirelessly support around 1.4 million students—should not bear the financial burden of politics. . This exodus highlights the urgent need for better support and compensation.

Our Call to Action: We urge the North Carolina General Assembly to pass a revised education budget that includes at least a 5.0% pay increase for both certified and non-certified staff during the session beginning September 9, 2024.
