Our Principal
Mrs. Megan Cahill-Clark
Greetings, Grove Park Families:
I am honored to serve as the proud founding principal of Grove Park Elementary School. We opened our doors in August 2023 as a Pre-K through 4th grade school, welcoming staff, students, parents, and community members from across the Charlotte area. Grove Park was designated as a relief school for overcrowding in East Charlotte at several schools. The majority of our students joined us from Reedy Creek Elementary and Joseph W. Grier Academy. In August 2024, we add 5th grade and continue to grow!
As an educator, I have 21 years of experience, all in the state of North Carolina. I have served 18 years in °ÅÀÖ¶ÌÊÓƵ– 12 as a school administrator. I graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Science. I received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.
On a more personal level, I grew up in Michigan and Western New York. I am a wife and a mom to two sons who are also °ÅÀÖ¶ÌÊÓƵstudents. They will be in 4th and 8th grades this year. We are Buffalo Bills fans, love our pug, Charlie, and are adventurous eaters. I love all things Disney, Lilly Pulitzer, turquoise, yoga, and travel.
As your principal, I am committed to developing and realizing a shared vision for outstanding educational outcomes for each student at Grove Park. We will work collaboratively with our stakeholders to build that legacy.
