The Aspiring Leaders Program is a paid leadership development opportunity for TFA Charlotte 2nd year corps members, TFA alumni currently teaching in CMS, and other °ÅÀÖ¶ÌÊÓƵteachers. All candidates must:

Currently possess 5 or fewer years of experience as a certified teacher

Have a summative/annual performance rating of proficient or above in all standards

Possess a North Carolina Continuing Professional Educator's License
Explore a paid 7-week summer internship experience from June 17 to August 1, 2024 is designed to empower teachers through executive mentoring, career shadowing, project management, and leadership training. Our esteemed mentors have included the Superintendent, Learning Community Superintendents, Chief Academic Officer, Assistant Superintendents, as well as other Chiefs & Associate Superintendents. Past participants in the Aspiring Leaders Program have gone on to excel in roles such as facilitators, assistant principals, principals, and various leadership positions within the district.
