STRATEGIC PLAN & ANNUAL PLAN

The 2024-29 Strategic Plan covers the same five-year period as the goals and guardrails, and it includes a description of the strategies that the Superintendent feels are necessary to take to achieve the goals. The plan is prepared by the Superintendent and staff only once every five years. Not all strategies are executed in the same way each year, they are “multi-year”, meaning that they may take several years to fully yield their result. 

The 2024-25 District Annual Plan shares what Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will accomplish in the first year of the five-year strategic plan. Central Office Department Plans and School Improvement Plans will be aligned to the 2024-25 District Annual Plan and will be available by clicking on the tab below once finalized for the 2024-25 school year.
