• Volunteer at Collinswood!

    If you are 18 years or older, we invite you to volunteer in a wide variety of capacities at school or from the comfort of your home, during the school day or outside of the school day.  We welcome Spanish or English speakers, but it is not necessary to be bilingual to volunteer.  All community members are invited to register as volunteers at cmsvolunteers.com.  Once your background check is complete, you will be notified by email of your clearance status.  Working with students requires an unsupervised clearance status.  If you have questions about your clearance status, please contact Ms. Cabral at lizbethe.cabral@cms.k12.nc.us.

    Steps to Get Started:

    1. Register to volunteer at Collinswood at .  Register with the same first and last name as it appears on your driver's license and/or passport.

    2. After 48 hours, receive your volunteer clearance status by email or call 980-343-5820 to speak with Ms. Cabral.

    3. Review the volunteer roles that interest you below.  Match your interest and your clearance status.

    3. Complete to get started!  The volunteer contact for the area you selected will be in touch with you to schedule your orientation and start date.
