Greetings Tuckaseegee Elementary Families,

As we embark on the 24-25 school year, I am filled with excitement and optimism about the incredible journey ahead. I want to extend a warm welcome to each of you and express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering dedication to our school and for trusting us to educate your child(ren). To those who are new to the Tuckaseegee family, know that you are a part of a winning team that loves and cares about our students and each other, is dedicated to ensuring high achievement for ALL students, and provides equitable, fun, and engaging experiences which make our school unique and special!    

Reflecting on last year, I am proud to acknowledge our numerous accomplishments and the many goals we met and exceeded.  These successes are a testament to your hard work, faithfulness, tenacity, and commitment to the work and our school’s core values of Love, Learn, Lead.  This year, we will build upon those successes, for endless possibilities, and create many more, always striving to make a profound impact on the lives of children we serve. Every day that we love and educate with urgency, agency, and intentionality, we work to eradicate poverty, challenge the status quo, and dismantle stereotypes and mindsets that hold our students back. We will work every day to ensure their life’s trajectory is going in a positive direction at an astronomical rate. What we do matters…and it matters every day! What we do isn’t just a job…It is a Calling!     

As we move forward, let’s remember that our work is a powerful force for good. We are shaping the future, one child at a time, and our efforts have a lasting impact. By staying true to our core values and maintaining our focus on the needs of our students and families, we will achieve remarkable things together.  

This year’s theme is: Leggo!  Building on Success for Endless Possibilities: An Intentional Plan for High Achievement for ALL! 

At Tuckaseegee our mission is to not only shift the narrative, but to cause a revolution that brings about change... not just change for the good, not just change for the better... but change for the best because better is no longer good enough. 

I am looking forward to an amazing year and know that I am here to serve you! Please reach out to me if you need anything and together, this will be the best year yet.

Mientras nos embarcamos en el año escolar 24-25, me siento llena de entusiasmo y optimismo sobre el increíble viaje que tenemos por delante. Quiero extender una cálida bienvenida a cada uno de ustedes y expresar mi más sincero agradecimiento por su inquebrantable dedicación a nuestra escuela y por confiar en nosotros para educar a sus hijos. Para aquellos que son nuevos en la familia Tuckaseegee, sepan que son parte de un equipo ganador que ama y se preocupa por nuestros estudiantes y entre sí, se dedica a garantizar altos logros para TODOS los estudiantes y brinda experiencias equitativas, divertidas y atractivas. que hacen que nuestra escuela sea única y especial!    

Al reflexionar sobre el año pasado, me enorgullece reconocer nuestros numerosos logros y las metas que cumplimos y superamos.  Estos éxitos son un testimonio de su arduo trabajo, fidelidad, tenacidad y compromiso con el trabajo y los valores fundamentales de nuestra escuela: Amar, Aprender, Liderar.  Este año, aprovecharemos esos éxitos para crear infinitas posibilidades y crear muchos más, esforzándonos siempre por generar un impacto profundo en las vidas de los niños a quienes servimos. Cada día que amamos y educamos con urgencia, agencia e intencionalidad, trabajamos para erradicar la pobreza, desafiar el status quo y desmantelar los estereotipos y mentalidades que frenan a nuestros estudiantes. Trabajaremos todos los días para garantizar que la trayectoria de su vida vaya en una dirección positiva a un ritmo astronómico. Lo que hacemos importa… ¡y importa todos los días! Lo que hacemos no es sólo un trabajo… ¡Es un llamado!     

A medida que avanzamos, recordemos que nuestro trabajo es una fuerza poderosa para el bien. Estamos dando forma al futuro, un niño/a a la vez, y nuestros esfuerzos tienen un impacto duradero. Si nos mantenemos fieles a nuestros valores fundamentales y mantenemos nuestro enfoque en las necesidades de nuestros estudiantes y familias, juntos lograremos cosas notables.  

El tema de este año es: ¡Leggo!  Construyendo sobre el éxito para posibilidades infinitas: ¡Un plan intencional para lograr grandes logros para TODOS! 

En Tuckaseegee nuestra misión no es sólo cambiar la narrativa, sino provocar una revolución que produzca cambios... no sólo cambios para bien, no sólo cambios para mejor... sino cambios para mejor porque lo mejor ya no existe. suficientemente bueno. 

¡Espero tener un año increíble y sé que estoy aquí para servirles! Comuníquese conmigo si necesita algo y juntos, este será el mejor año hasta ahora. 

Como le digo a mi personal y a mis estudiantes... Los amo... Lo digo en serio... y que sea un gran día... ¡CON PROPÓSITO!
