My name is Jennifer Moore. I am the proud Principal of Sedgefield Montessori. I have worked for over 20 years in CMS, with more than half of those years being in Montessori magnet schools.

I have a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree from Queens University of Charlotte, a graduate certificate in School Leadership from Appalachian State University, and Upper Elementary Montessori certification through the North American Montessori Center. I was the TD Teacher and later the Academic Facilitator at Park Road Montessori before moving to Trillium Springs Montessori where I served as the Assistant Principal for two years.

In 2023, I returned to Park Road Montessori as principal for the school's final year at the Park Road campus. During the summer of 2024, the Park Road Montessori program was relocated to the Sedgefield neighborhood at 715 Hartford Avenue, and will reopen in the fall of 2024 as Sedgefield Montessori Elementary School.

At Sedgefield Montessori, we strive to provide an authentic Montessori experience for students PK-6th grade in a public-school setting. This will be a special year as we bring the amazing Park Road Montessori legacy to a beautiful, updated campus nestled in the Sedgefield neighborhood. Together we will make it our new home.
